We not only apply cutting-edge technology. We create it.
Cubbit works as a distributed data center, where a swarm of individual devices, orchestrated by a coordinator super-node, cooperate to virtualize a cloud storage service.
As often happens in distributed systems, a big challenge is to gather data on usage and performance in order to monitor and improve the experience of users, as well as optimize resources in the swarm.
Our team adheres to the CAMS (Culture, Automation, Measurement, and Sharing) model, ensuring a robust and efficient DevOps practice. We follow the principles of DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) and KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) to maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

About Cubbit: a moonlanding for the cloud, want in?
At Cubbit, we're a team of innovators building the world's 1st geo-distributed cloud enabler. Traditional cloud storage replicates data across multiple data centres (DCs) run by a small number of centralised cloud providers, resulting in limited sovereignty, high complexity, and high costs.
Cubbit flips this model on its head: rather than being just another cloud provider, Cubbit is the world's first cloud enabler, as it enables any company to become cloud providers — for themselves and their own clients.
Indeed, Cubbit's geo-distributed technology turns any IT resource into a node of a virtualised cloud storage platform. Any hardware can be a node, be it a server owned by the customer, edge infrastructure, or a machine in the public cloud.
Data is never stored anywhere in its entirety. Instead, each piece of data is encrypted, fragmented, and replicated across multiple locations within a single country, ensuring full digital sovereignty, minimal complexity, and the world's highest data durability (up to 15 9) — all at the fraction of the cost.
You could surely say, we're doing a moon landing for the cloud. Are you up to the task?
