Elena Terenzi

Elena Terenzi is a Principal Software Engineering Lead at Microsoft. She has been focusing on Data and AI since she started her career after graduating in Computer Engineering with a Major in Machine Learning in 2002.

With 17 years of experience at Microsoft, Elena has been a strong advocate for AI and Big Data solutions. In the last 7 years in the company Elena has been part of an engineering organization that is working with some of the biggest companies worldwide to unblock some of their biggest challenges with a focus on Data.

As a coach at the hackathon, Elena brings a wealth of knowledge in the intersection of data, artificial intelligence, and industry-specific challenges. Participants can expect insights into real-world applications, best practices, and innovative approaches to solving problems using AI.

Elena has a Master's degree with a major in AI and NLP from the University of Illinois, Chicago USA and a Laurea in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
